He told me he did not want to wait for a failure to learn from mistakes.
As the CEO, there are many instances where conversations are of high stakes. Any potential mistake, however small, can be a costly one. Sarath is on a critical path in terms of his company chasing an exponential growth trajectory and did not want to leave any stones unturned in his path to achieve these tough objectives.
Once he started group coaching with me, he realized a significant opportunity to improve his impact. He had an approach to dealing with people in a one-sided manner. That means he was not focusing on the other person’s personality in conversations. He used to approach them in his “one size fits all” style which wasn’t proving productive or optimal.

One such concept is adaptive leadership & communication, which helped him to understand others’ personalities better and quickly adapt to others’ styles. He started noticing that he could have better conversations and understand other people better, leading to improved outcomes.
